Three not new but favourite CDs

Three not new but favourite CDs from Angeldark - Oceans of Night - Artizan.

Angeldark are from Spain and they describe their music as "gothic, symphonic, power, death, electronica... A multi-layered soundscape made of apparent opposites"
I don't know how true is that, all I know is that I keep listening to their album and I cannot get enough of it.

Angeldark formed in 2007 and they released their first full-length album "Angélique" (Montsacrum Media, 2008). The entire album is exceptional. Produced by Santiago Fano, Angeldark's album was recorded at Bunker Studios (Asturies). Featuring the great canarian soprano Berenice Musa (Tears of Martyr), whose vocal performance on the CD is more than outstanding !

Angeldark web site:
You can listen to the ENTIRE album from their media player, check out my favorites "Mastery of Pain" - "Saint-Germain (The Man Who Killed Death) Pt I & II" - "Venom X". So don't forget to visit them, you can order "Angélique"from their page too and you get free pick + stickers for every order !

Oceans of Night is a heavy rock/metal band that synthesizes a diverse range of musical influences under the deceptively descriptive title of "ambient progressive rock".
Oceans of Night consisting of musical mastermind Scott Mosher and vocal powerhouse Scott Oliva. Their first full-length CD "The Shadowheart Mirror" CD released in June 2009.
From their web page: you can find more info about them.
Also don't forget to visit Scott's web page, where you will find many goodies there about Oceans of Night and also about the personal CDs of Scott. Listen to "The Last Goodbye" - "Two Worlds Apart" - Living in The Past". The personal CDs of Scott are great too, not all of them are metal but good music don't need labels, you can download many tracks for free from his site so don't forget to take a look.

Artizan is a five piece melodic metal band from Jacksonville, Florida.

Founded by drummer Ty Tammeus in 2008, Artizan crafts powerful, melodic metal. Dynamic song structure, dominant rhythms and melodic hooks are key ingredients to the Artizan formula.
Their self-titled and self-financed EP recorded in August 2009 at Vision Sound, Orange Park, Florida, USA, and Produced/Engineered by Jim Morris. The EP has three songs, I cannot choose from a favourite from them, you MUST listen to all.
Since you are reading this blog you will know already that Artizan has signed and are working for their first full-length album.
From their site you can listen to samples from their EP, and of course stay informed about all the news for their forthcoming album.
