New Album Releases

New album releases:
Black Majesty - "In Your Honour"
Melodic speed - power Metal from Australia, it is not the most original thing you have ever heard of course but they play "classic" metal themes, and the "unique" voice of their lead singer makes them identifiable. Really enjoyed this album as well as their previous release Tomorrowland.

Porcupine Tree - "Anesthetize" (live DVD+Blue-Ray)
This is a MUST for all Porcupine Tree fans, you probably already own it I suppose no need for me to say anything more.

Anathema - "We're Here Because We're Here"
This is a hard one, I am not crazy about this album it is like as they want to be Porcupine Tree at the place of Porcupine Tree, of course I need to give it more "listens" to say anything more, albums such as this tend "to grow in me" after a while. Fans should listen a few songs first and then decide.

Magica - "Dark Diary"
With their well known style, fans are going to love this album too, the rest should listen to them first. Mind you this is not like Nightwish - Within Temptation - Epica. They are not "symphonic" and they sound much "heavier" although they are a "female fronted" band.

ReVamp - "ReVamp"
The new group of Floor Jansen (ex After Forever), what a surprise sound much like After Forever, I don't find it as good as the last release of After Forever though. For the fans of After Forever the sound is very familiar. I liked it a lot, as a big fan of After Forever, on the other hand I hope next releases will be even more inspired.
Nevermore - "The Obsidian Conspiracy"
You know them, probably not their best records but high standards as always for Warrel Dane, Jeff Loomis and company. Personally I love this man's voice (from the Sanctuary era) and I love this album.
Avantasia - "The Wicked Symphony" and "Angel Of Babylon"
Not much to say here, Tobias Sammet continues with his well known project to familiar course with lots of guests musicians once more, if you liked the first two albums you are going to love this too.
By the way, if you are planning to buy both CDs, it is worth getting the box-set for a few extra euros. The extras worth the trouble.

Sabaton - "Coat Of Arms"
They keep going with their unique style in music and lyrics. For all the fans of the previous Art of War, this album is a worthy successor.

InnerWish - "No Turning Back"
InnerWish is melodic power metal band from Greece. This one was a surprise for me. Just listen to them and you will agree with me. There are many videos on YouTube from their new album, check them out ,they really are very good.

Pain Of Salvation - "Road Salt One"
One of my favourites. As usual Pain of Salvation are playing with my mind.

Ereb Altor - "The End"
This one is for all Bathory fans. Epic Viking Metal (need I say more ?)
